♡ What Makes You Beautiful : One Direction by MUA Lipstick Review and Swatch ♡

The boys at 1D have done it again, slapping their names on a popular merchandise line to increase profit. Yep. They seriously have a make up line. But i thought we 'Dont need makeup, to cover up.' Eh, boys?
The line that provides these products is 'MUA' otherwise known as 'Makeup Academy', an affordable makeup brand that can be found in most Superdrugs here in the UK. And for the most part, I can honestly say that the 1D line is extremely high quality for the price you pay. As I said before, MUA is an affordable brand, and everything in the 1D range is under £4.
However the one product that stands out overall for me are the lipsticks.
Most of the colours in the range are pastel-esque nudes with a nice sheen to them. However the above lipstick in the shade 'Be Mine' really stood out to me. It's described as 'A vibrant cherry red, perfect for date night.' And honestly, it is. It's on the deeper end of the red scale, so it really compliments those of us with pale skin.
Another pro to these lipsticks is the pigmentation. Holy shit. These are honestly some of the most pigmented lipsticks I have ever come across in my life. Unlike shades such as 'Russian Red' from Mac, (Which by the way, costs £11 more than these do.) these lipsticks are far from waxy, and remind me specifically of lipsticks of a 'CremeSheen' finish from Mac. I could honestly say that I would be prepared to wear these without a balm underneath, and my lips get pretty dry.
The only thing that does slightly annoy me about this line of lipsticks is the packaging. Yes, it's pretty and you can collect all of 1D's signature colours, however it kind of looks like it came from a rejected Mac collection. But if you can get past the cheesy packaging and shade names, Id definitely recommend checking out this line.
